Condolences
Elizabeth (Lily) MASTERSON of Pakenhamhall Street, Castlepollard, died on Sunday April 29th, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late William and much loved mother of John, Willow, Pascal, Gretta, Marian and the late Tommy; sadly missed by her daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass took place on Wednesday May 2nd, with burial afterwards in St Michael's Cemetery. We offer our deepest sympathies, may she rest in peace.
Underage
Community Games
Well done to the Castlepollard Community Games Hurling Team and mentors who defeated Cullion in the final. They now go on to represent Westmeath.
U-14 Féile
The Féile Final vs Clonkill takes place on Monday 7th May in Cusack park at 6pm. Best of luck to the team and mentors. Please come to support the lads.

Best of luch to St Michaels National Schools Hurling Team who have made it to the Semi finals where they will face either Ballinagore or Collinstown.
U-8
Training for the U-8s and U-10s continues every Tuesday night, from 6pm until 7pm in the Hurling Field. All new members welcome.
Training for U12, U14 & U16s continues on Monday evenings from 6-7pm.

Birthdays
A belated happy birthday to Dan McLoughlin, Glenview, Castlepollard, who celebrated his 80th birthday with a party for family and friends in McCormack's Bar, Castlepollard on Sun April 22nd. Dan has been involved with Castlepollard Hurling Club for most of those years!
Senior Team
Castlepollard Senior Hurlers play Boardsmill of Meath in a Challenge game on Wednesday May 9th at 7.15pm in Boardsmill.
Senior Hurling League : Sunday May 20th Clonkill vs Castlepollard in Clonkill at 11.30am
Pig Roast & Sponsored Cycle:
Our Sponsored Cycle and Pig Roast takes place on Sun 3rd June Bank Holiday weekend. There is a family cycle of 17.5Km, starting at the hurling complex and heading for Collinstown, Fore and back to Castlepollard. The Adult Route of 60Km starts at the hurling complex and heads for Mullingar, Delvin, Drumcree, Fore and back to Castlepollard. Sign on at the hurling complex, Castlepollard at 1.00pm for the adult route and 3pm for the family cycle. It is planned that both groups will meet up in Fore and return to Castlepollard together. There will be a donation to Crumlin Hospital for Sick Children from the proceeds.

County Minor Team
Hardluck to the Westmeath Minor Hurlers who were beaten by Carlow in the Leinster Minor Championship in Cusack Park on Sat 5th May on a scoreline of Carlow (1-14) Westmeath (1-12). Castlepollard are represented by Tommy Gallagher, Michael Murray, Jason Coyle & Ciaran Fagan.
Bingo
Our weekly bingo continues every Sunday night at 8.30pm in the hurling complex. The jackpot was not won on Sunday 6th May and now stands at €14,000, awaiting a lucky winner. Our new 2nd Jackpot of €2,400 was not won and now stands at €2,500 for next week.

Numbers drawn:- 2,8,22,23. There was no jackpot winner. The 6 x €25 winners were:
