Notes as of 5th Feb 2012

Bingo
Our weekly bingo continues every Sunday night at 8.30pm in the hurling complex. The jackpot was not won on Sunday 5th February and now stands at €12,700, awaiting a lucky winner.

Senior Team:
Team manager Jody Murray has assembled his team of selectors. They are Martin "Farmer" Egan (Snr) and the trio of former Pollard stars Sean McLoughlin, Barry Kennedy and Alfie Devine. We wish them the very best of luck for the year ahead.

Membership:
Over the comming weeks we will be starting our big drive to increase the number of Club Members. We will be calling on past members to rejoin and get behind the club and help support its development for the years ahead.

Scór:
After a long absence the club is hoping to enter this years senior Scór which takes place in the Downs on Sat 11th February. We hope to enter Quiz team and the Recitation.

Indoor Hurling
Indoor hurling for Under 8s and Under 10s continues every Tuesday night, from 6pm until 7pm in the complex. All new members welcome.
Training for U12, U14 & U16s continues on Monday evenings from 6-7pm. Players please return registration forms a.s.a.p.

Underage Disco
There will be an underage disco in the complex on Friday 10th Feb.

Camogie
Membership registration for 2012 will take place at the GAA complex on the Monday 20th February (copy of birth cert is required) with training resuming on Wednesday 20th February.

Lotto Draw:
Next draw will take place at the Bingo on Sun 12th February. Jackpot is €2,600.
Fancy Dress:
Fancy dress night in McCormack's Bar on Saturday 11th February (Valentine's Weekend). There will be prizes for best costume and spot prizes on the night, so throw on your best costume and join us for a great night.

Drive-in Bingo:
Due to popular demand plans are in place for our 2nd 'Drive-In' Bingo for April.
Details of date and time to follow.

Underage Coaching Camp:
This years Camp will take place on Aug 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Pig Roast & Sponsered Cycle:
We are planning on holding a Sponsored Cycle followed by a Pig Roasting on the June Bank Holiday weekend. More details to follow.

Website:
A club website is currently under construction and is hoped it will be ready by end of February. It will feature all club info from fixtures and results to fundraising and events. Please email [email protected] if you have photographs or other information to put on the website. Tweet
