Westmeath GAA are delighted to announce the appointment of Brian Hanley
former Athenry hurler as the interim manager of the Westmeath senior
Hurling Team, the decision was taken to appoint Brian following a
meeting with the players.

His management team will be as
follows
Selectors: Christy Murtagh (Clonkill) and Billy Boyle (Raharney)
Team Trainer: Padraig Lynn
Speaking from Congresss County Chairman Tom Farrell expressed his
delight at the appointment and wished Brian and his team the best of
luck, he also paid trubute to Kevin Martin for the work he, and his
management team did for Westmeath GAA particularly during 2010 when
we annexed our third Christy Ring Cup title.

A meeting of the Westmeath Hurling Board will take place on Monday
night next @ 8.30pm in Cusack Park when Bian will formally be
