Multyfarnham Club Notes

REGISTRATION DAY

We had a great turnout for our registration Day on Saturday morning last. Great to see so many enthusiastic young footballers looking forward to the year ahead. Training for all age groups will be commencing in the coming weeks.

DIVISION 2 LEAGUE

Our intermediate team started their league campaign against Moate on Saturday last. After an entertaining game Moate ran out winners on the day.

Next game is away to Athlone on Friday next 28th at 8pm.

DIVISION 6 LEAGUE

Our Junior team started off  their league campaign on Sunday morning last against Castledaly. It was a credit to both sides on the day for serving up a lively game of football on a heavy pitch.

Unfortunately on the day Castledaly were winners by 4 points.

Next game is away to Castletown/Finea/ Coole/Whitehall on Sunday morning next 1st March at 11:30am.

U19'S

U19's training on Wednesday & Friday nights along with Intermediate and Junior training. Full turnout expected lads.

U15'S & U17'S

U15 and 17 training in the Community Centre every Saturday at 7pm.

NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Well done to Anthony McGivney, Ronan Wallace and the Westmeath footballers who drew with Armagh in the National Football League on Sunday last.

WEDDING BELLS

Congratulations to Max Brady and his beautiful bride Lisa who were married on Friday last. Wishing you both many years of love and happiness together.

WELL DONE JOE

Well done to Joe Mulvanney on winning the Leinster Championship in handball recently.
