Moate All Whites Notes

 

The sun was shining for the final outing for this year's U10s. They took part in the Coughlan Cup which was hosted by Castledaly. We had a brilliant turnout of over 20 players who all contributed to some fantastic games. We won both group games against Castledaly and Maryland/Tang playing some brilliant football along the way. We came up against a well coached and skilfilul Rosemount team who had the edge over us in the final. The coaches were very proud of the effort put in by all the players. They never gave up. We'd like to thank Castledaly for the great spread they put on and look forward to the Street League finals which take place next Saturday in Hogan Park.

 

U14 semi final

U14,Moate played Shandonagh away Sunday morning in Division 1 shield semifinal,Moate started well with some early points and despite misses on both sides Moate led 1-4 to 3 points at half time,a good team performance overall but some brilliant individual play ensured we continued to lead throughout the 2nd half and after a great penalty save we continued to put Shandonagh under pressure and went on to win 3-6 to 8 points
