Junior Hurling Final
The Junior Final was held on Sunday Morning last at 11.30am, whilst Clonkill started the game at a slower pace than Castletown Geoghegan, the certainly made up for it in the second half with some exceptional scores on the day.
It was a day for goals and Clonkill got 3 with Enda Loughlin, Niall Folan and Jordan Smyth responsible for these.
The final score was Clonkill 3-14 to Castletown Geoghegan 2 -15.
This was a very entertaining game for the average crowd of supporters that attended.
Well done to Manager Jimmy Cribbin who was assisted very well throughout the year from his selectors Larry Donoghue, Andrew Mitchell and Frank Aughey.
Enda Loughlin, accepted the cup on the team’s behalf and dedicated the win to his little girl Annabelle
Thank you to all the supporters that attended
Happy New Year
We would like to wish all our members, supporters, players, management & committee a Very Happy New Year.
Without the continued support from you there would be no club.
