The Turin Hurling Club AGM took place on Sunday last, 13th January, in McCabe Park. It was a positive meeting with various topics discussed.

 

The following were elected to the club executive ;

CHAIRMAN - John Penrose.

VICE CHAIRMAN - John Heffernan.

SECRETARY - Damien Keogh.

ASSISTANT SECRETARY - Rachel McGrath.

TREASURERS - John Leavy, Alan Leech and Richie Heffernan.

P.R.O. - Rachel McGrath.

REGISTRARS - Ronan Leavy, Alan Aughey, Rachel McGrath, John Penrose and Damien Keogh.

DELEGATES TO THE COUNTY BOARD - Damien Keogh, John Penrose, Richie Heffernan, Joe Leavy and John Heffernan.

YOUTH OFFICERS - John Corroon and Neil McDermott.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS OFFICER - Damien Keogh.

ADDITIONAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS - Aidan O'Neill, Johanna Farrell, John Ayres, J.P. Scally and Tom McGrath.

 

At our recent AGM, the following were appointed President and Honourary Presidents of the club.

 

PRESIDENT - Michael Corroon.

HONOURARY PRESIDENTS - Larry Poynton, Fr.Smyth, Matt Moore, Jim O'Callaghan, Donal Foley, Peter Swords, Hugo Keogh, Andy Moran, John Leavy, Michael Carey and John Egan.

Turin/St Munnas Fundraiser

Turin Hurling Club and St Munnas Camogie Club welcomes Johnny Brady and his band to the Mullingar Park Hotel on Friday the 8th of March.

Bonus Ball

The entry fee is now due for 2019 for the Bonus Ball competition.  We will be setting up a direct debit for participants over the coming weeks.

 

Gaeltacht Scholarships 2019

 

CLG Iarmhí in conjunction with Club Iarmhí will sponsor 6 part scholarships to Coláistí Samhraidh and applications are invited from Turin GAA club members.
