Multyfarnham players celebrate with the Westmeath JFC silverware.

Multyfarnham GAA club continue to build for the future, but this time it is off the field as they seek planning permission for a new pitch and flood lights.

Last year, the club had the backing of the county as they lifted their first Westmeath JFC title in 61 years before winning the Leinster club JFC final and going on to be narrowly defeated in the All-Ireland final.

Now, the club are looking to redevelop their grounds by adding a new pitch, floodlights and extending their existing car park to house 224 cars and two buses.

All this is to take place in conjunction with Multy Community Centre Ltd and a decision due date has been pencilled in for September 27th.
