Champions De La Salle were in ruthless form in the second round of the senior hurling championship.

The holders were up against An Rinn in their second Group One outing at Fraher Field on Saturday and they duly romped to a 4-17 to 0-11 victory, with Jake Dillon bagging 3-6.

In the same group, Fourmilewater defeated Tallow by 2-12 to 0-13 at Cappoquin on Sunday - their second win of the campaign.

In Group Two, Pauric Mahony clipped over twelve points as Ballygunner claimed their second win by beating Roanmore by 1-20 to 0-11 at Walsh Park on Sunday.

At Fraher Field on Saturday, Mount Sion finished strongly to eventually see off Abbeyside, 1-18 to 1-15. Tweet
