Munster MFC: Deise secure first win in four years

Waterford withstood a late Limerick rally to finished with a one-point victory in the Munster MFC quarter-final at Fraher Field.
The Deise County secured their first win at this grade in four years and they led by 2-5 to 1-5 at the break.
Substitute Kevin Daly netted the John Kiely managed side's third goal in the 46th minute to give them a nine-point advantage but Limerick battled back with goals from Brian O'Connell and Kieran Daly.
