The second round of the Waterford senior football championship takes place this weekend.

There are six games down for decision as clubs prepare for a break in the campaign after this round of matches.

The action starts on Friday night with Ballinacourty favourites to defeat Rathgormack, who are making their first appearance in the campaign.

On Saturday, Stradbally, Ardmore and Nire all should see off St Saviour's, Gaultier and Ballinameela respectively.

Then on Sunday, there are two games as Kilrossanty and Clashmore is too close to call, while An Rinn should see off the challenge of Brickey Rangers. Tweet
