This past weekend also saw the commencement of a series of U15 blitzes that will occur through-out the next few months. The girls played at venues at Bushy Park and Clonea-Power in what can only be described as very inclement weather. Teams from clubs spread across the county travelled to these venues and played some very competitive games. A big thank you to the host clubs for the use of their facilities and to the mentors that take time to prepare these teams. These games will stand to the girls once their leagues commence later in the season.
Next weekend sees the next round of U12 blitzes and hopefully the weather will be a bit kinder than the weekend just past.
