Michael Ryan says Tony Browne hasn't yet made a decision on his intercounty future.

The ageless Mount Sion clubman returned to county training with Ryan's Waterford earlier this week, immediately sparking speculation that he had thrown his lot in with Na Deise for a 22nd season.

However, Ryan has urged caution, pointing out that these reports are premature and revealing that the 39-year-old is merely testing the water and hasn't yet officially returned to his squad:

"Tony was back training with us on Tuesday night but hasn't made any commitment yet," the Waterford manager stated on gaa.ie

"Tony will work away on a personal fitness programme for the next three to four weeks before making any decision on his future." Tweet
