Former Waterford hurler Declan Prendergast looks set to feature for the county junior footballers.

Prendergast has been included in John Kiely's squad for the clash with Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday afternoon.

An accomplished footballer, Prendergast has been impressing with his club Ardmore in this year's championship.

For nine years, Prendergast was an integral part of the Waterford senior hurling team, making his debut in 2003, before finally calling it a day earlier this year. Tweet
