Waterford's Stephen Molumphy keeps a hold on Pat Vaughan of Clare during the Munster SHC semi-final at Thurles - INPHO
Stephen Molumphy has urged his Waterford team-mates to forget about their Munster triumph and to put everything into reaching the All-Ireland final.
Speaking ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland hurling semi-final against Tipperary, the Waterford captain said: "It was a great thing to win Munster and get silverware. But now that is over. Put the Munster championship to one side. The biggest step of all is to get to the All-Ireland final.
"We have won four (Munster) titles in a decade and it is one of our best decades. But we want something more again. You want a place in the All-Ireland. That is what we are aiming for. It is the next step that we need to achieve."
Molumphy believes Tipperary are well over the disappointment of their surprise Munster championship first round collapse at the hands of Cork.
"The last day (against Galway) they seemed the most complete team this year in the backs and forwards, all attacking the ball.
"They have reached the heights they showed last year in the All-Ireland final and maybe gone a step above that again. They will be tougher again this year and I think they are waiting to take on Kilkenny."
