Two more Deise players retire

November 15, 2008
Following on from the news that Paul Flynn had retired from inter-county hurling, two more experienced Waterford hurlers have decided to bring a curtain down on their careers. Both Tom Feeney and Dave Bennett have announced their decision to retire from the inter-county scene and will not be available to Davy Fitzgerald for next year's campaign. Feeney admitted that he had been there long enough, but both men can leave with their heads held high as they have been excellent servants to the county over the years.
