NACB 50th Anniverary Celebrations

The Chicago Central Division of the North American County Board is hosting a Gala Banquet honoring the 50th Anniversary of the North American County Board, the 100th Anniversary of Gaelic Games in Chicago and the 125th Anniversary of the Gaelic Athletic Association.
The big event is being held on Friday, November 13, 2009, at Chicago Gaelic Park, 6119 W. 147th Street, Oak Forest, IL. The cost is $60 per person which includes a gourmet dinner, open bar and entertainment.
This historic function, which is being staged in conjunction with the 2009 NACB convention in Chicago, is expected to attract a capacity attendance. The following GAA officials are travelling from Ireland for the event: Paraic Duffy, Director General of the GAA; Jimmy OÄôGorman, Munster Council Chairman; Joe Mc Donagh, Overseas Committee Chairman and former GAA President; Sinead OÄôConnor, Camogie Ardstiurthoir. Guest of honor for the evening will be John OÄôBrien of Cleveland, the sole surviving member of the ÄúFounding FathersÄù of the North American County Board.
