Dulwich Harps Club Notes 24th of July

Saturday saw the final round of league fixtures completed by the men's team when they entertained St Anthony's on a particularly wet and soggy afternoon. With slippy underfoot conditions both teams traded early points however the game struggled to come to life until a Ryan McAnearney goal gave the Harps an early lead. Further goals from Gerry McNamee and Ciaran Stone helped the blues run out comfortable winners in the end on a scoreline of 4.14 to 0.10.

Focus for the men's team will now turn to the upcoming league final which is due to take place in redeveloped Ruislip on Sunday 30th of July against Thomas McCurtains. The throw-in time for this game is 12:30pm.

Training continues for the men's team on Tuesday and Thursday evenings @ 7:15pm  on Peckham Rye Common. For more information contact Alan (07472 211445) or Enda (07522 723765).

Following their defeat in the junior championship final the ladies will have a break in fixtures for a weeks. The girls are continuing to train on a Monday evening and it will take place at Peckham Rye Common with a start time of 7:00pm.
