John Mitchels 3-2 v 3-12 St Brendan's

St. Brendan's put in a commanding performance in the opening half to lead 2-5 to 1-1. John Mitchels rallied in the second half with two further goals before a St Brendan's penalty put the game beyond doubt in the final quarter. Ethan Crawley and Rory Maguire were amongst the scores for Brendan's while Liam Kelly at half back and Simon Purvis in midfield put in fine displays. Winning the first silverware of the season is good reward for the lads who have trained well during the pre-season and are looking forward to a busy schedule of games across the three adult teams: Senior, Junior and Junior B.
