Video: from Castlederg to the Colosseum
May 14, 2013
Tyrone man Chris Taggart is the driving force behind Rome GAA. Originally from Castlederg, Chris is teaching in Rome and leading the way forward for Gaelic Games in the city.
He started up a men's football team late in 2012 and has added a Ladies team.
On May 18, Rome GAA will host a Swiss-Italian Regional Tournament for teams from Zurich, St Gallen, Padova and Rome, among others. Chris spoke to Jerome Quinn at the previous round of games in Zurich.
Video reports will follow from the Rome Tournament, thanks to sponsorship from the Scholar's Lounge, the best Irish pub in Rome!
