Stats: Dublin v Tyrone

April 26, 2013
Dublin are bidding to end a 20-year wait for the Division 1 title while Tyrone last took the title in 2003, having won it for the first time in 2002. Dublin's last League success came in a replay win over Donegal in 1993. Current manager, Jim Gavin played in the half-forward line as Dublin won by four points against Donegal, the previous year's All-Ireland champions. Dublin reached finals in 1999 and 2011 but lost to Cork on both occasions.

Tyrone are back in the final for the first time since 2003 when they easily beat Laois (0-21 to 1-8) en route to a League- All-Ireland double. Conor Gormley, Sean Cavanagh and Steven O'Neill, all featured in the 2003 final and are still key members of the squad.

Dublin's only defeat in this year's campaign came against Tyrone, who beat them by a point while Jim Gavin's men also dropped a point to Donegal. Tyrone lost to Cork and drew with Kerry.

Dublin are seeking their 9th Division 1 title while Tyrone are chasing their third.
