Ladies Seniors
Congratulations to our senior ladies on their comprehensive win over neighbours Eoghan Rua  in the Junior 'B' championship semi-final on Saturday last 17th July.  Sigersons  Leona Houston opened the scoring with an early point and followed this seconds later with a cracking goal which was to set the pace and tone of the game. Points from 4 different Sigersons players followed before Andrea Kelly found the net again for Strabane. As the game gathered pace points from Sheree Connolly, Ciara McGill, and Hollie Friel were to follow before Andrea again found the net to put Strabane 3.9 to 0.0 in front. Tori McLaughlin added another goal to the Sigersons tally, this was followed closely by a point from on form forward Leona Houston who quickly found the net again with a goal from a well taken free. Leona then took the girls into half time 6.10 to 0.00 after a superb pass from Sheree Connolly once again put her in the perfect position to find the Eoghan Ruas net . In the Second half Substitute Donna Devine added to the sigersons scoreline. Still battling hard though Eoghan Ruas didn't give up and were rewarded for their perseverance with a point from the boot of Hannah Corey, to the cheers of her team mates and supporters alike. Sigersons continued to push forward as Ciara Mc Gill and Tori Mc Laughlin added to the point tally.  Strabanes always dependable Ciara Mc Gill found the net twice in concession in the following minutes. This was followed by points from Tori Mc Laughlin and Substitute Karen Feeny who replaced Andrea Kelly. Eoghan Rua's continued to fight and were rewarded with two more points which were to be their final scores. Tori Mc Laughlin replied to this with two more goals. The only yellow card of the game saw Sigersons Morgan mc Glynn sin-binned for 10 minutes for a high tackle in what was a relatively well disciplined game for both sides. The game entered the dying minutes with points from both McGill and Mc Laughlin. The final score came from Vice Captain Rachael Brennan who put the ball over the bar before Referee Sean Harvey blew the whistle to signal the end of the game.  Strabane Sigersons will now play Fintona in the championship final, date and venue to be confirmed.  Scores and Scorers for Strabane (L. An Mhaigh Tír na nÓg G.A.C.
Summer Camp
Páirc Thír na nÓg, An Mhaigh was one of the host venues last week for the annual Tyrone GAA Summer Camp.  Despite taking place during a busy holiday period, the four day-long camp attracted almost 70 local primary school children from Monday 12 July through to Thursday 15 July.
Apart from a slight drizzle on the Wednesday morning, the weather remained favourable.  Those who took part in the camp had a great time and seemed to really enjoy the various activities, games and coaching drills.
Two O'Neills footballs were presented to the male and female players who were considered to be the most enthusiastic and helpful throughout the week.  The winners of this award were Diarmuid McKeown and Nuala Coleman.
Meanwhile, the 'player of the week' was Gavin Kelly whose impressive displays at the camp earned him a place at the mini-exhibition games to be played during half-time in this year's Tyrone County Senior Football Final.
Two of our county stars, Philip Jordan and Colm Cavanagh, also stopped by during the week for photographs and a chat with the children.  Everyone who took part in the camp also received their new Club Tyrone playing kit, water-bottle, football and kit-bag.
Speaking afterwards, An Mhaigh G.A.C. Youth Officer Martin Conroy praised the four summer camp coaches in Moy - namely Geraldine, Ciaran, Niall and Carol - who ensured this event ran smoothly last week.  Well done to everyone involved and thanks to all who helped out.
Ulster Champions
Well done to both the Tyrone senior and minor football squads on their outstanding Ulster Final victories at Clones last Sunday.  An Mhaigh had no fewer than five players involved in what was another proud day for all O'Neill County Gaels.
Congratulations to Colm, Philly, Ryan and Sean on adding to their already impressive haul of Ulster senior medals and also to young Eunan Deeney who turned in an impressive display for the Tyrone minors in their emphatic win against neighbours Armagh.  Here's hoping for even more Red Hand success later this summer!
Duckfast Derby
The 2010 Moy 'Duckfast Derby' continues to attract huge interest with a great response so far to the sponsoring of our little blue ducks.  Proceeds from the race, which will take place on Sunday 5th September at 12.00 noon, will go towards An Mhaigh Tír na nÓg club development.  A donation will also be made to Marie Curie Cancer Care NI.
For just £10, you can sponsor a duck in the race.  Please contact any member of the An Mhaigh G.A.C. committee to give one of these ducks a home.  You can also sponsor a duck online by logging onto our club website www.moy-gfc.com or Facebook page and clicking on the 'Duckfast Derby' link.  Many Moy exiles, living in various parts of the world, have already been getting in on the act by sponsoring a duck online.
Prizes are as follows: 1st Place £1000; 2nd Place £500; 3rd Place £250.  There will also be a £50 prize for the next ten ducks across the line and a £10 prize for the next ten ducks after that!

The Senior team made the long journey to Aughabrack to take on Clann na Gael on Friday 9th July in a league game which was a repeat of their championship meeting of a few weeks back. With no county men available for either side both teams would have fancied their chances of taking victory. It proved to be a very close encounter with the sides working hard in the opening period to take control of the game but the teams were level at the short whistle at 0-6 to 0-6. The second half followed a very similar pattern to the first with both teams matching each other score for score and it was no surprise when the sides finished level at the final whistle. Final score-line; 0-11 to 0-11. Killeeshil had some great performances from the younger players throughout the game but special mention must go to Kieran Magill and Jim McMullan who were excellent on the night. Management will be in touch with players regarding training over the next couple of weeks.
The Reserve Championship game v Clann na Gael (away) has been scheduled for Friday 30th July at 7.45pm.

The club will host an U-8 Blitz on Saturday 24th July at 10am-1pm. Anyone available to help on the morning please come along, all help would be appreciated.
The Summer Camp takes place in Killeeshil next week, running from Monday-Thursday. Places are still available and registration can be completed on Monday morning. Any children attending must bring their own water bottle, a packed lunch and wet-gear. For any more information please contact Dominic Donaghy.
The club held its Golf Classic on Friday 16th July in Dungannon Golf Club. Thankfully the weather was kind to us and with the course in fantastic condition everyone enjoyed a great days golf. Congratulations to all the various prize-winners on the day and a word of thanks to all those who helped make the event a success. A big thank-you is extended to all sponsors and those who entered teams, your support is very much appreciated.

Well done to Kevin Hughes on picking up another winners medal and on a great performance in the middle of the field. Best of luck to all invloved for the remainder of their campaigns.
Not to be out-done, the Tyrone U-16 Girls also got in the winning act recently when they beat Donegal in the final of the Ulster Championship. The club had five players involved in the squad, Ann Scullion, Genevive Scullion, Urslagh Magee, Louise Kelly and Emma Mulgrew. Well done to everyone on a great victory and acheivement.
Anyone interested in tickets for the All-Ireland quarter-final must enter their name in the request box in either of the local shops or e-mail; billdonaghy@hotmail.co.uk or shanemallon11@hotmail.co.uk before Monday 26th July 8pm. Any requests after this time will not be considered, no exceptions.
The club would like to express its sympathy to the O'Neill and Mulgrew families on their recent bereavements. May their loved ones Rest In Peace.
