Alphalot results for Monday 26th April were as follows; C I L P Q. There was no jackpot winner. Match 4 winner was Noleen Rafferty. Sellers prize went to Adrian Doyle. Jackpot now stands at 3750. Many thanks to all sellers and those who support our weekly Alphalot continuing to make it a great success.
The ACL Div.2 Round 3 Senior away fixture v Eglish was postponed at the weekend due to the Wedding of local man and past club player Marty Hughes on Saturday. Marty has married Katie O'Connell from Co. Kerry and we wish them both all the very best in the future and maybe who knows, we'll see Marty back in the green and white of Killeeshil at some stage. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday 4th May at 7.15 and hopefully the team can up their performance and return to winning ways.
The Reserve match went ahead as normal on Sunday with Killeeshil making the short journey down to take on neighbours Eglish. With Killeeshil fielding without a few regulars the home side made the brighter start and raced into a commanding lead by the half-time whistle. The away team found the second half equally tough going and with their defence working overtime Eglish ran out convincing winners in the end.
This coming weekend both Senior and Reserve teams will be in action at home v Gortin in the league. The games are on Saturday evening as Sunday has been set aside as a free-Sunday to mark the final celebrations of the GAA's 125 Anniversary. All support for the teams welcome.
The Minor boys travelled to Brocagh last Wednesday 28th April and after a decent performance were unlucky not to get anything out of the game. They have a chance to make amends though this week when they face Aghaloo in Killeeshil.
The U-14 boys were in action during the past week when they played Aghaloo at home. Unfortunately things didnt go for Killeeshil lads on the night and lost out by a few points.
Congratulations to Ann Scullion, Genevive Scullion, Urslagh Magee and Louise Kelly who recently became All-Ireland Champions with St. Pats Acadamey Dungannon. All the girls played a big part in the victory, not least Louise who grabbed herself 3-1 in the final and also the Player of the Match award. Well done to you all and for representing the club in fine style.
The club hosted the Ulster Councils 'Live to Play' Road Safety Course at the Community Centre on Monday 26th April. A good turn-out including our own club members and officials, visiting clubs and County Board officials all gathered to watch and listen intently to the various guest speakers, including our own Kevin Hughes, and members of the emergency services as to why we should all take greater care on our roads. Some hard-hitting messages and images were delivered and if that information can save one life on the roads then the night will have been a success. Thanks to all who organised the event and helped it run so smoothly. More information on 'Live to Play' can be viewed on the Ulster Councils web-site; ustercouncilgaa.ie

The U14's had a disappointing defeat in their league campaign on Tuesday night at the hands of Naomh Mhuire. Not much separated the two teams in the first half with Ardboe registering 1 goal and 4 points to Naomh Mhuires 3 goals. Ardboes first half scores came from DD Mulgrew and Gary Donnelly. In the second half Naomh Mhuire dominated the scoreboard until Ardboe found first gear after about 15 mins. Goals from Kevin Coney, Nathan Bell, Jordan Bell and Callum McGuigan brought Ardboe within 1 point of Naomh Mhuire however another few scores from NW allowed them to hold on to secure a 3 point win. Final score Ardboe 5-05 Naomh Mhuire 7-02. The next U14 league game is away to Stewartstown on Tuesday night. Throw in at 7.15pm. The first round of the U14 championship is on Tuesday 11th May against Clonoe. Throw in at 7.30pm in Clonoe. Training resumes as normal.

Round 6 of the league is a home fixture against Pomeroy on Wednesday night. Throw in at 7.30pm. All Under 16's are asked to meet in the pavilion on Wednesday night after the Minor game.
Senior
The Seniors and Reserves travelled to Trillick on Sunday for round 4 in their league campaign. The reserves remain unbeaten securing a 7 point victory against a strong Trillick side. In the first half both sides kicked some good scores with Ardboes points coming from Anthony Devlin, Nishy O'Neill, John Cummings and Matthew Brady. Half time score Ardboe 0-07 Trillick 0-05. In the second half Ardboe took control of the game adding another 8 points to the scoreboard. Trillick only managed to covert two frees and 1 point from play in this half to leave a final score of Ardboe 0-15 Trillick 0-08. Ardboes second half scores came from Nishy O'Neill, Eugene Martin, Anthony Devlin and Matthew Brady. The seniors started the first half of their game very convincingly with 5 great points coming from Gavin Wylie, Marty McKeown, Frank McGuigan, Simon Teague and Ciaran Campbell. However, after about 15 mins of play Trillick seemed to find their form coverting 6 points, 4 of which were frees and the other 2 from play. Ardboe responded by converting another 4 points leaving a half time score of Ardboe 0-09 Trillick 0-06. In the second half Trillick applied the pressure, kicking 5 points from play, but great second half points from Ciaran Campbell, Paul Coney and Frank McGuigan as well as the conversion of 2 frees by Gavin Wylie and Frank McGuigan allowed Ardboe to hold on for a 3 point victory. The next league game is a home fixture on Saturday evening against Cookstown Father Rocks. Senior Game throw in at 5.30pm.
