Clonoe O'Rahillys club notes

Last weeks lotto numbers were 3, 11, 14 and 23.  There were no jackpot winners. Five people matched three numbers: Barney Taggart, Dominic O'Brien c/o O'Neills, Patricia O'Neill, c/o O'Neills, Conor Lavery and John Corr, Killary. Next week’s jackpot is £4275.

 

Thank you to all the organisers who helped in any way to organise the Molly O'Neill Cup. Unfortunately, our young gaels lost out against our neighbours Coalisland Fianna.

 

The u13 boys will play Cookstown in MUSA on Thursday evening at 630. On Sunday they will conclude their season when they play Naomh Phádraig at 1130 at home.

 

The Youth Dinner will be held on Friday 6th December at 7-9pm in the Community Centre. This is for all youth up to u16s. 

 

The AGM will be held in the Community Centre this Sunday 24th November at 3pm. At an important time for our club, all members are requested to attend. 

 

There is a Junior Comhaltas Seisiun in the club this Sunday from 4-6pm. The next quiz night is Friday 6th December at 9pm.

 

With Christmas fast approaching, there are a few events planned. On Friday 29th November, Santa will be in the Community Centre as we switch on our Christmas tree lights. This is an event not to be missed! On Sunday 1st December, there will be a Big Bingo in the Community Centre at 6pm. Entry is £20 per book with £4000 in prizes up for grabs. There are also festive party nights in the Community Centre on Saturday 14th December and Friday 20th December. Partygoers will enjoy a sumptuous 4 course meal followed by an evening of music and dance in the Dernagh Suite with full facilities. A walking group has recently been established in the local Community. The Clonoe/Coalisland Walkers meet at the Clonoe Community Centre on a Monday evening at 730pm, a Wednesday evening at 730pm and a Sunday morning at 10am. This is open to everyone in the local Community. Remember to bring your high vis and a headlight or torch.

The club was saddened to hear of the passing of Eithne Devlin, an esteemed member of our club. Wife of the late John James, mother of Oliver, Brian, Kevin, Dominic, Aidan, Dympna, Celia, Nora, Ita, Sheila and the late Michael, Joan and Hugh, We extend our condolences to the Devlin family and the large extended family circle who have been players, supporters and workers for our club over many years. May she rest in peace. All available members are asked to meet at Clonoe Chapel at 1040 wearing club colours for the Guard of Honour. Sympathy is also extended to the McDonald Family, Brocagh on the sudden passing of Seamus.
