Urney St. Columba's - Club Notes

ADULT (Daoine Fásta):
There were no adult fixtures this weekend owing to Tyrones involvement in the qualifiers. Adult football will likely take a back seat over the next few weeks. Once fixtures have been issued we will update our Facebook page.
YOUTH (An tAos Óg):
Under 16 girls. Any young girls who are interested in playing under 16 please let Veronica Mcmenamin or Carolanne Elliott know.
Our under 12's were beaten by Gortin tonight, Monday 8th July. Training continues on Monday and Thursday nights. Keep an eye on Facebook for fixture updates.
Training for our under 6, 8,10 & 12's continues on Thursday night again from 7. We would also encourage any parents, club members or adult players to lend a hand, as the more help we can get the better it is for everyone.
Youth membership can be paid to Cathal McGowan at youth training on Thursday night. Family - £50, Under 6 - £10, Under 8 to Under 16 - £20. Forms are available and must be filled in.

Urney GFC will be the venue for an upcoming "Coach the Coaches" course. This is a joint event be organised by both Tyrone and Donegal GAA.
Saturday 3rd August in Urney GFC from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Anyone from the club interested or indeed any other club that would have Coaches interested in attending this Course can you please forward names to Veronica Mcmenamin by email to [email protected] before Friday 26th July 2019.
TYRONE (Tír Eoghain)
Tyrone progressed to the Super 8's stage of the All Ireland series after a convincing win against Cavan at the weekend.
Fixture details as follows;
Round 1 - Saturday 13th July at 5.00pm
Roscommon v Tyrone - Hyde Park
Round 2 - 20/21 July
Tyrone v Cork - Croke Park
Round 3 - 3/4 August
Tyrone v Dublin - Healy Park
Tyrone u20's also progressed to the Ulster Final after also beating Cavan at the weekend. Both Tyrone Minors and Under 20's will play their Ulster Finals as part of a double header this Sunday. Tyrone Minors face Monaghan at 4.00pm followed by the Under 20 clash against Derry at 6.00pm, both taking place in Armagh.

SUMMER CAMP (Campa Samhraidh):
With the summer camp just under a week away please make sure you have enrolled your child to guarantee kit etc.
Enrollment will also be open on the first morning, we hope all the children have a great week and fingers crossed the weather plays it's part as well.
The Urney summer camp begins next Monday 15th July until Thursday 18th July.
