In order to accommodate parents looking to book holidays, please be advised our summer-camp will run this year from 29th July 2019 > 1st August 2019. We would encourage parents to book online early for a reduced rate using the following link: http://tyronegaacentre.com/tyrone-gaa-summer-camps/. It is important to register as early as possible for the Summer camps as not only does it ensure kit delivery but it is also cheaper as after the Friday 28th June prices will rise by £5.

Fundamentals is on tomorrow night (Wednesday 19th) evening from 7 > 8 pm for P1, P2, P3 & P4, boys and girls in the Community Centre. All support & help from parents is much appreciated. It is very important for parents to help out to ensure there is enough adult supervision to cover the large numbers of children attending.

The Under 8, 10 and 12 boys are out training on Thursday night from 7 > 8 pm.

Our U8, U10 & U12 girls train on Fridays, 6.30 to 7.30pm, as always new members welcome. All help from parents is also greatly appreciated.

Hard luck to the U14 girls who bowed out of the U14 championship last night (Monday 17th) following a tough battle with Moy. Thanks to the girls for all their hard work and to the parents for their support. Also big thanks to the management team of Caitlin Campbell, Ciaran McCrory, Paul Fearon and Shane Carty.

The U14 boys produced a tremendous performance against an excellent Both Domhnaigh team last Wednesday (12th) in Eskra to claim a spot in the league final. The lads had to go to the well on a number of occasions to win by 1 point on a final scoreline of 2-17 to 1-19 after extra time. In normal time the game was fiercely contested throughout. A late Daniel Rafferty goal gave us a 1 point lead with time nearly up but Both Domhnaigh responded with an injury time equaliser to leave the game level at the end of normal time 1-11 to 0-14. Extra time took on a life of its own and thanks to immense work from Michael Carty and an eye catching Dillon O'Neill goal the boys built up a 5 point lead with a few minutes left. Both Domhnaigh responded immediately with a goal to cut the deficit to 2 points. Some heroic defending thwarted any attempts for a winning goal and the lads hung on to win by 1 point. The large Killeeshil support were certainly rewarded with a performance that showed great pride in the jersey with a never say die attitude throughout. This group of 26 boys now have a league final v Eglish to look forward to in a couple of weeks time, which their efforts all year have richly deserved. Well done lads. Training this week is on Wednesday (19th) from 7 > 8.30 pm and on Friday (21st) from 7.30 > 9 pm.

Anyone interested in managing our U16 boys, please contact Martin Russell (07973 641386) and anyone interested in managing our U12 or U16 girls, please contact Philip Donaghy (07795 026464).

Minor boys are training on Tuesday (18th) evening at 645 > 8pm. Can any player who wishes to play U16s and is not on U14s panel please attend!

Our senior ladies travelled to Cappagh last Friday evening (14th) for their 5th round league game and despite a lot of regular faces absent, we were still able to field a very strong side. Right from the throw in, our girls took the game to the home side and punished them at every opportunity. A very impressive first half produced a tally of 5:7 til 1:1. After the break our ladies dug deep again and never gave the blues a platform to make a come-back, holding them to a single point in this 2nd period, our ladies running out worthy winners on a final score line of 8:12 til 1:2. This was a hard-working, honest team performance from the whole team, keep it going ladies and thanks again to our travelling supporters. Our Senior Ladies play Loughmacrory in the preliminary round of the Championship this Sunday (23rd) at 6pm in Killyclogher. All support is much appreciated for this team who are currently unbeaten in the league to date in 2019.

Our mens Senior & Reserve teams travelled to the Loughshore last Sunday (16th) to face Brocagh in the league. Both our teams were missing a few key players and fell to defeats. Reserve game: Killeeshil 0-4 Brocagh 2-17. Senior game: Killeeshil 0-10 Brocagh 2-16. The lads are out training this week on Tuesday (8 pm) as they prepare for their next league fixtures away to Castlederg, this Friday, the 16th of June. Reserve game is at 1900 with senior game throwing in at 2030 (keep an eye on Facebook incase this changes). All support is much appreciated.

Congratulations to Lisa Traynor on winning the Tyrone Feile skills Competition on Wednesday (5th) in Omagh. Lisa will now go forward to represent Tyrone at the national finals on the 22nd June in Abbotstown, Dublin. Good luck Lisa.

Good luck to the Tyrone senior team who face Longford in Longford this Saturday, the 22nd of June in Longford at 5pm.
