Urney St. Columba's - Club Notes

ADULT (Daoine Fásta):

Goals proved to be crucial in Clady on Sunday afternoon. 2 second half goals helped Strabane beat Urney on a scoreline of 2-18 to 0-17. Next up is a trip to Greencastle scheduled for 7th July. Thanks to everyone who helped with stewarding and the gates on Sunday.

YOUTH (An tAos Óg):

Big congratulations to our U14 girls and management team. They beat Glenelly this evening 8-14 to 5-4 to book themselves into the league final.

On Thursday 20th June, this talented group also find themselves in the championship semi final against Clan na Gael. Throw in set for 7pm in Dunamanagh. Why not make the journey and support the girls.

Our under 12's season is to begin this week. Tonight's game Monday 17th against Owen Roes is being re-arranged and we are hoping to have it scheduled for Friday 21st June. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for more details

Training for our under 6, 8,10 & 12's continues on Thursday night again from 7. We would also encourage any parents, club members or adult players to lend a hand, as the more help we can get the better it is for everyone.

Our under 8's had a very enjoyable mornings football in Glenelly last Saturday in their 2nd blitz of the year. This young side are improving every week.

Youth membership can be paid to Cathal McGowan at youth training on Thursday night. Family - £50, Under 6 - £10, Under 8 to Under 16 - £20. Forms are available and must be filled in.

The Titan Cup was held this morning (Monday 17th June) in Páirc Naomh Columba and was a great success.

St. Columba's Ballylast ran out eventual winners beating St. Columba's Clady in the final.

Thanks aswell to all the schools who took part, St.Columba's Clady, St. Theresa's Glebe, St. Safan's Doneyloop and St. Columba's Ballylast.

Jack Langan received player of the tournament & Dara McMonagle received player of the final award.

TYRONE (Tír Eoghain)

Tyrone entered the qualifiers and after last week's draw will make the journey to Longford this Saturday afternoon. Hopefully the back door route can be a blessing similar to last year.
SUMMER CAMP (Campa Samhraidh):

The club lotto numbers for Monday 17th June were, 1, 4, 10, 12. No jackpot winner - 3 match 3 winners, Cecilia Fox - ℅ the Hall, Hannah Bonner - Castlederg, Ann Connolly - Clady, each win £35. Next Week’s Jackpot - £1,050.
