Sympathies: The club continues to offer our thoughts and prayers to the family of Honorary Vice-President John Mulgrew.  Our first official sponsor (MAC’s Bakery), John was an avid supporter for many years with lots of family success with no less than 3 sons playing in the All Ireland Feilé winning team of ‘88 and a new generation of grandchildren playing up to senior level today. Rest in peace John.

St Patricks Day: To celebrate our Culture Group are organising a great day for all.  As many local musicians are asked to come along and help the celebrations.   Music, food, and activities!! Being held in the Torrent complex at 12noon, it’s sure to be a great, fun, family day for all the village.  Not to be missed. Also, some of our local gaeilge students will be having a collection outside all masses on St Patrick’s day/weekend  with all proceeds going to local gaeltacht funds. Please give generously. Culture: continuing our vein of all things cultural.  There is the opportunity to organise a beginners Irish language class in the Torrent. Please contact Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or [email protected].  Once we gauge interest and numbers we will promote further details.
