Our Senior men ended their League campaign on Saturday past when Eskra finished their hopes of making it into the Play-off Finals. Killeeshil who were missing a few players could not get themselves into the form that saw them finish the league so strongly and went down by 13 points to 7. The lads struggled to get any sort of foothold in the game as Eskra stood firm in defence and made it very difficult for Killeeshil to get a shot off on target. The team will have to regroup again and come back even stronger in 2019.

The season finished for our U16 girls on Monday night when they bowed out of the Championship at the hands of Aodh Ruadh, going down by 3 points.

U13 lads begin their training this week in preparation for the league.

Best of luck Aimee and her Ballad group and Solo singer who compete in the first round of the Scór this weekend.

Congratulations to our former Senior Ladies Player, youth officer and coach Nicola McAnenly who tied the knot with her long term partner Darren Carson at the weekend, Nicola was a stalwart around our Club for years and we wish her and Darren all the very best in their married life together.

Killeeshil GFC sends its most sincere condolences to the McGirr Family Killylevin, on the sad and untimely death of Damian, and to the Nugent Family Aughnagar, on the death of Sean. Mary Queen of the Gael, Pray for them.
