Killeeshil club notes

March 13, 2018

Alphalot results for Monday 12th were ACTVW, Match 4 Winner was Marie Rafferty with Paul Donaghy, Jimmy and Peggy's cub, collecting the Seller Prize. Next Monday's Jackpot stands at £6950 so be sure and get your entries in before 9pm Monday. Killeeshil GFC are currently recruiting to our team of Lotto Sellers, if you think you have what it takes to join our dynamic crew and help our Club collect Lotto in every corner of the Parish, and hear all the latest gossip on a Monday night at the Draw, then call 07920517282 and we'll arrange suitable training and get you kitted out.

Training continues this week for our Senior, U21, Minor Men, Minor Ladies and U14 boys and girls.
Please could all management send a match report to the PRO so we can keep everybody up to speed with our teams.

Games are starting to come hot and heavy now with our Minor Girls fixed for playing Clonoe on Friday evening in Clonoe in their second league game of the season. During the last week our U21 lads recorded a victory against Drumragh in the Quarter finals of the League Knockout while our U14 lads started their league campaign with a defeat at home to neighbours Galbally.
The Club is still waiting on a Senior Ladies Management team to but put in place, our Ladies have reached the Senior Championship Final this past two years so this should be an exciting position for all suitors with the experience and youth our Club has at its disposal. Please contact any committee member if this job interests you. To get our Senior Ladies up and running, the team will train with the Minor Girls in the coming weeks.

Youth Presentation which has been arranged and postponed many time since the start of the year has yet again been arranged for Sunday 25th March at 7:30 in the Centre, we hope that this being forth time lucky we can gather and celebrate all things good that our Club has achieved over last season.

Doors are still being knocked around the Parish with information concerning our Cairde Chill Iseal Membership scheme. As everyone is aware the Club has purchased ground beside our Club Grounds and are in the process of erecting floodlights so we can free up our existing training field enabling every team the chance to train on grass at the Club. We hope that many people take up this offer of joining our Chairde scheme helping our Club grow and strengthen.
Membership forms are also being distributed which must be filled in and signed by every potential Club Member, this is to keep us in line with new Data Protection Laws that come into force later in the year.

March is as always Membership Month and it is planned to hold Membership Evenings on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd of March, Membership can also be paid at Youth Presentation on Sunday 25th. Anyone who hasn't received a Membership Form can fill it in at these evenings and be sure to sign the Data  Protection sections.
