Four years without the Liam MacCarthy Cup is too long, if interest in tickets for this year’s All-Ireland SHC final is anything to go by in Kilkenny.
The Cats’ supporters have been known down through the years to be in no panic to pick up tickets for an All-Ireland final, but this year is a different story according to the Kilkenny People.
The county’s minor hurlers are also in action on the same day heightening the interest as the seniors prepare to face old rivals Tipperary.
There has been strong early demand for tickets as both sides came through as underdogs.
With both sides in the finals, Kilkenny will have a bigger allocation of tickets meaning there will be a sea of black and amber in Croke Park on Sunday week.
