Waterford manager Paraic Fanning wasn’t keen to divulge too much about the style of play that he is trying to introduce into the side.

Two wins from two have seen Waterford make a comfortable start to the NHL 1B campaign following relatively easy wins over Offaly and Laois.

Waterford supporters will have learned little from those two games with regards to the system Fanning is introducing.

When asked by the Waterford News & Star, what style was he trying to implement, Fanning would only admit that they were eager to use the space in the forwards.

“We’re always looking to push ourselves and raise the bar higher all the time,” stressed Fanning. “My style? We’re looking to try and create plenty of space up front and for the inside boys.

“That’s it. I’m not going to go into our shape too much. I’m just happy with the way that we are going about it.”
