Laois may have beaten Antrim in their NHL 1B clash, but their manager Eamonn Kelly is adamant that the relegation battle between the sides is a '50/50' contest.
Following a decent start to the campaign that saw Laois produce some impressive performances, the O'Moore County's form has dipped in their last two outings and thus so, they are where they are.
Antrim battled to a win against an Offaly side that were already qualified for the NHL quarterfinals last weekend, which will have been a boost to their confidence, according to Kelly.
"If they beat Offaly, that tells you they are heading in the right direction," Kelly told the Leinster Express. "They'll probably have all the motivation after we beat them here the last day. We played well and they didn't play to their potential, so it's going to be a fifty-fifty battle, we need to regroup.
"There were aspects of the Dublin game that went well, there were aspects that I need to look at myself, in terms of the way we set up and see what way we go, going forward."
