The Fergus McMahon managed Exiles prevailed on a scoreline of 1-19 to 0-15 to send Joe Quaid's Lilywhites into Division 2B for 2019.
Richie Murphy was on target with 0-7 (0-11 overall) during a first-half which finished with the hosts' 1-13 to 0-7 to the good and they held for a vital victory.
