A win over Dublin is a must for Laois manager Eamonn Kelly.

The sides are set to meet this Sunday, but heavy snow fall may put paid to that, in what is a must win game for both counties.

Both sides have two points and the loser of this clash will be in the bottom two alongside Antrim, a situation that Kelly would like to see his side avoid.

"It's winner takes all, we haven't got long to lick our wounds, we have to get back and be competitive," Kelly stated to the Leinster Express.

Kelly saw his side put in a lacklustre performance in their defeat to Offaly last weekend and he expected a much better display from his charges against their neighbours.

"That's the part that's bothering me, there shouldn't be an awful lot of motivation needed, there are two neighbouring counties and they are usually great battles. I've been involved in enough of them at this stage, but I just didn't think we seemed ready for the battle."
