Tipperary forward Dan McCormack will miss up to five weeks of action through injury.

McCormack damaged the cartilage in his left knee during last Saturday night's Division 1A impressive 1-20 to 1-11 win over Waterford at Semple Stadium.

The Borris-Ileigh clubman will be sidelined for four or five weeks meaning that he is set to miss the remaining matches in the NHL.

Meanwhile, Joe O'Dwyer is definitely out of the rest of the league after he sustained a broken thumb in the win over the Deise and is out of action for six to eight weeks.
