Last Saturday's Allianz HL Division 3A clash between Warwickshire and Longford in Birmingham saw two Limerick club-mates go head-to-head.
The two club-mates in question are Niall Kennedy and Bart Hanley who have hurled together for their native Granagh Ballingarry from underage to adult level.
Having only recently joined the Exiles, Niall led the Warwickshire attack from centre-forward as Bart lined out in the opposition's midfield at Pairc na hEireann.
Niall won a Munster U21HC title with Limerick in 2011 while Bart has been plying his trade with Longford for a number of years now and also had a stint with the Meath hurlers.
For the record, it was Niall who claimed the bragging rights as Warwickshire beat Longford on a scoreline of 1-14 to 0-11.
