Ulster GAA chiefs are reportedly in talks with the GAA about the possibility of moving Donegal's provincial SFC quarter-final clash with Tyrone to Croke Park.

The counties will renew acquaintances on the weekend of November 1, as confirmed by the Ulster CCC on Friday following the release of the new plans for the 2020 inter-county season.

Anglo-Celt Cup champions Donegal had been preparing to host the Red Hands in the original fixture at MacCumhaill Park where they previously met in the Super 8s in front of a crowd of over 16,000.

If the headline fixture went ahead in Ballybofey, the capacity will need to be greatly reduced due to Covid-19 restrictions, especially with the 2-metre social distancing rule.

It is projected that an attendance of 21,000 would be allowed in Croke Park under the current measures while if social distancing was reduced to 1-metre, then that figure will double.
