Tyrone double All Star Mattie Donnelly and Armagh’s Stephen Sheridan returned to the Ulster University at Jordanstown this week to inspire the next generation of GAA stars.
50 Upper Sixth pupils attended a UU High Performance Camp to see the facilities and listen to the county players who have fond memories of their time at the college.
‘Jordanstown has been phenomenal to me and it’s an honour to be asked to come in and pay that back and to talk to the next level coming through’, says Sheridan.
‘It can be daunting coming to University’, adds Donnelly. ‘’But I’ll be forever grateful for the support network through the Gaelic club here’.
