Donegal starlet Oisin Gallen scored 2-9 - 2-8 from play - to help Sean MacCumhaills to a 5-14 to 1-18 victory over Dungloe in their county SFC Group B opener at MacCumhaill Park last evening.

The talented teenager, who enjoyed a fine debut season for the Donegal seniors, bagged 2-5 alone in the first half as MacCumhaills took a 3-9 to 0-8 lead into the interval. Martin O'Reilly, Brian Lafferty and Darren O'Leary were the other goal-scorers for the home side.

In yesterday's other first round games, St Michael's came from behind to beat Ardara by 4-18 to 2-10 in Group A, while Milford were 0-14 to 0-10 winners over Four Masters in Group C.
