Mikey Sheehy has been impressed by Dara Moynihan’s breakthrough performances for the Kerry seniors.
A Hogan Cup winning captain with St Brendan’s in 2017 and an All-Ireland minor winner with the Kingdom the previous year, Moynihan made a big impression in his first senior intercounty start against Tyrone and was named Man of the Match as Dublin were beaten in Tralee ten days ago:
“He’s been a very good underage player and he’s a workhorse,” eight-times All-Ireland winner Sheedy states in The Irish Daily Star. “He’s not physically a very big lad but he just works and works and works.
“He’s a very good player, a good lad and a good footballer. What I like about him is he’s confident. He’s not cocky … he’s confident.
“This guy loves being involved at this level and he doesn’t fear anybody. He is a huge plus and his work rate is what you want from a wing forward.”
