Former Republic of Ireland soccer star Kevin Kilbane was an interested spectator at yesterday's Lancashire SFC final.

Kilbane, who regularly attends gaelic football matches involving Mayo - the county of his late father Farrell, cheered on Oisín's of Manchester as they overcame the Liverpool based John Mitchels at Old Bedians to retain their crown.

First-half goals from man-of-the-match Christy O'Connor and Luke McAllister set the Oisín's up for an easy 3-11 to 1-5 victory and Kilbane sent his congratulations to the back-to-back Lancashire champions after the game:

Meanwhile, the Lancashire SHC final on Saturday saw reigning champions Fullen Gaels beat Wolfe Tones by 2-21 to 1-9.
