O'Brien: London is a banana skin

Carlow Manager Turlough O'Brien

Carlow manager Turlough O'Brien's full focus is on London in the opening round of the NFL Division 4 campaign and he admits its a game that worries him.

The Barrowsiders interest in the O'Byrne Cup came to an end last weekend when Meath's hammering of Wicklow saw the Royals through to the semi-finals.

O'Brien had plenty of positives to mull over after their two games in the early season competition, but now all he is concerned about is what he believes will be a tricky tie for his charges.

"London is going to be a banana skin for all teams in the division. They will be very well prepared. They are well organised," O'Brien stated to the Carlow Nationalist.

Carlow are third favourites to top the Division 4 table at 6/1, while the Exiles are outsiders at 40/1, but O'Brien is taking nothing for granted.
