Westmeath midfielder Eoin Price is adamant that they need to build on their performance against Cork.

This weekend, the Midlanders head for Nenagh to take on a Tipperary side also seeking their first win of the campaign and who will be strong favourites to take the points here.

The Midlanders pushed Cork all the way in Cusack Park last Sunday, but ultimately, they are still seeking their first win of the campaign.

“We have to go out and perform to the best of our ability again and be consistent down there no matter what happens. We must forget about the Cork game and focus completely on Tipperary straight away.

“We have a few players to come back from injury and that will help us. We played Tipp a couple of years ago and did quite well against them down there. We are taking the view it doesn’t matter who we are playing. We have to set up a little defensive and then work hard on getting our own scores. It is a quick recovery and we will give our best shot again.”
