Clonmel Commercials (Tipperary) 1-13
St Joseph's Miltown-Malbay (Clare) 0-3
Clonmel Commercials outclassed Clare champions St. Joseph's in their home pitch to qualify for their first Munster club football final in 21 years.
Dramatic winners over Newcastle West in the first round, Charlie McGeever's charges weren't tested on this occasion as they eased into the November 29 decider against Nemo Rangers. Despite playing against the elements in the first half, the hosts led by 0-8 to 0-1 at the interval, with St. Joseph's having had to wait until the 27th minute for their opening score from Eoin Cleary.
It continued to be one-way traffic in the second half with Michael Quinlivan's fisted goal in the 41st minute putting the seal on an emphatic victory for the Tipperary kingpins.
