Lar Corbett says Tipperary have built up momentum ahead of their All-Ireland SHC semi-final clash with Cork.
The Rebels go into next month's crunch match as Munster champions, while Tipperary lost their provincial semi-final clash with Limerick. But the Premier County have regrouped to beat Galway, Offaly and Dublin and seal their place in Croke Park.
"There is momentum behind us," the 2010 Hurler of the Year notes in The Irish Independent. "We are delighted with the couple of wins, but the most important thing for Tipperary is the next three weeks' training, not getting complacent and getting the best 15 onto the field. That's where it is going to be won and lost for us.
"We'll be going in as underdogs, we have achieved nothing over the last couple of years, but we have a small bit of momentum," the Thurles Sarsfields clubman adds.
After a long battle with injury, Corbett has rediscovered his form this summer.
"I am only delighted to be playing in a sport where people have an opinion. It's great to be playing in a sport where it means that much to the public.
"It's fierce important that we continue to progress."
