A sell-out crowd is expected for Sunday's national hurling league final.
It was originally estimated that around 15,000 would attend the mouth-watering Division One final meeting of holders Kilkenny and fierce rivals Tipperary at Nowlan Park but the latest indications are that a full house is likely at the Cats' county grounds.
The capacity of the venue has been reduced to 23,000 for the latest instalment of this great rivalry and the 9,000-seater Grace Stand had all but sold out last night.
The match is an all-ticket affair and it looks like public demand is such that all the tickets are going to be snapped up.
Kilkenny County Board Events Controller Seamus Reade has confirmed that is is "looking like we will have a full house".
