Doyle, Nancy

January 12, 2012
The death occurred on January 1st, after a brief illness, of Nancy Doyle, Kickham Street.

Relict of Tommy Doyle, renowned Tipperary hurler, who won All-Irelands in the 30s, 40s and 50s and who predeceased her in 1988, she was a member of the highly esteemed Egan family, Kickham Street. In her mid eighties, she was a very gracious and gentle lady, and a kind and thoughtful neighbour. Her passing is greatly regretted, particularly by her loving family, to whom she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

The large gatherings at the removal of her remains to the Cathedral and at her interment in St Patrick's Cemetery following Concelebrated Requiem Mass, testified to the esteem in which she and her family are held in the community.
Sincere sympathy is extended to her family, Jimmy, Rena, Marion, Philly, Teresa, Tommy, Valerie, John, Martin and Vincent, her grandchildren, her brother, Johnny Egan, Kickham St., and sister Kathleen Sheedy, Turtulla, and all her extended family on their sad loss.
