We regret to record the death of Mrs.Kitty Hyland, Shanaknock with took place after a short illness. A member of the Ryan (Castle) family of Ballysheedy, she was well known and active within her community. She was sister of the Ryan brothers of hurling fame and was an excellent camogie player herself in her time with the then Annacarty camogie club. She is survived by her brother Michael, Mohera, son Bobby, daughters Anne, Breeda, Kathleen and Joanne together with their families and other relatives all to whom sympathy is extended. She was laid to rest in Annacarty cemetery after Requiem Mass in St. Brigid's Church, Annacarty on Monday 23rd June. May she rest in pleace. Tipperary Star, 5th July 2008 Tweet
