Sligo manager Kevin Walsh is feels that his players will have no problem motivating themselves for the Connacht JFC final.

The Yeats County take on Mayo in Sunday's decider, which will be a curtainraiser to the senior clash between Mayo and Galway.

The fact that Sligo and Mayo are the only two participants in the junior championship has taken some of the gloss off the competition, but Walsh stressed that they will be going all out to win the title.

"It's a Connacht final and there will be probably be a few thousand supporters in the ground ahead of the big senior clash between Galway and Mayo," Walsh explained to the Sligo Champion.

"Players shouldn't have any difficulty motivating themselves in those circumstances so I'm expecting a big effort from our lads."
